Healthy Aging

Are you interested in aging gracefully? This health and wellness program was created to assist individuals interested in the aging process and who would like to learn anti aging nutrition tips and lifestyle recommendations.

There are over 79,000 centenarians living in the U.S. according to U.S. Census estimates and my goal is to increase this number! According to Carl Eisdorfer, MD, director of the University of Miami Center on Aging, “The best data shows that only about one-third of longevity is due to genes. The most important factors are behavioral: eating too much, eating the wrong foods, alcohol and drugs, how you view stress, how you deal with it – whether you are connected to family, if you have an extended family [including friends].”

During the course of this program, all of these components to healthy aging will be taken into account and then some.

In this Healthy Aging program we will:

Discuss your health history and health goals
Discuss the aging process and what anti aging products to avoid, teaching you to focus on anti aging nutrition and lifestyle modifications
Learn anti aging foods and how to incorporate them into your daily diet
Discover supplements that will assist you in receiving optimal nutrition as you age
Discover herbs to assist with alleviating age-related symptoms you may be experiencing
Find an enjoyable way to increase movement into your daily life if currently sedentary
Learn of exercises and stretches to help maintain your balance, agility, flexibility, and strength as you age.
Learn how stress affects how well you age and discover stress management techniques
Discuss the importance of sleep in aging gracefully
Discuss ways to avoid memory loss including eating for a healthy memory, and more.

Estimated Healthy Aging Program Length: 6 hours*


*The charge for the above Healthy Aging program is hourly since each individual's needs are different, and therefore time requirements vary. I've placed an estimated length of time below each description to assist you in the average length of time the program was designed to take. If the program runs over you will be charged accordingly.
